Ok, suppose that in order to join the army the regulations
say that every member must be five feet ten inches tall.

So we have three men who wish to join. The first man is only five feet tall,
the second man is five feet five inches tall, and the third man is five feet
nine and a half inches tall!

Now, which one will be accepted?

The answer is that NONE of them will be accepted.

They ALL FALL SHORT of the REQUIRED standard.

One is only half an inch short, while one is ten inches short,
but they ALL have failed to measure up.

Do you get the point?

Now let's make the analogy...

You may not be as "bad" as another person, but the truth is YOU HAVE
SINNED and therefore FALLEN SHORT of God's standard of perfection.
