WHAT'S IT LIKE IN HEAVEN?
Well, for starters, Heaven is a HOLY place with NO SIN or EVIL. Rev21:27 There will no curse be found there, for the throne of God and the Lamb will be there. Rev22:3 There will be no temple, for the Almighty God and our Lord Jesus Christ ARE the temple, Rev21:22 and will tabernacle with us forever and ever. Rev21:3
Obviously, since God & our LORD Jesus Christ are present, it will be a place of WORSHIP & GLORY! Rev4:8-11, Ps73:24 The Lord Jesus IS the Lord of Glory, 1Cor2:8 appearing great in strength and righteousness. Isa63:1 There will be innumerable angels Heb12:22 with great voices, and music, Rev14:2 singing praises of glory & worship. Rev5:11-14, Rev19:6+
Next, it would be considered to be a place of PARADISE Lk23:43, 2Cor12:4, Rev2:7, without any UNPLEASANT THING. There will be no death, sorrow, or pain. Rev21:4 There will be no hunger or thirst. Rev21:6 There also will be no darkness or night. Rev21:25, Rev22:5 The believer will not lack for anything in heaven! Rev22:2 Many will rest from their labors, Rev14:13 but there will be no boredom or laziness, for we will delight in serving the Lord. Rev22:3
Finally, and most excitingly, it is a place where everyone will be like Jesus! 1John3:2, Rom8:29, Heb2:10-11
The greatest joy of heaven will be to see the face of God. Mt5:8, Rev14:1, Rev7:3 This immeasureable joy will be experienced through the souls of all believers. God is spirit, and in spirit the elect shall see him. This is the reward, earned by & through Christ, to be enjoyed by those God calls his people.
