The Penalty Of Sin
(Required By Gods Perfect JUSTICE)
| You know, because of sin, WE EARN and deserve judgement.
For the WAGES of sin is DEATH. (Romans 6:23a)
For since by man came death... For as in Adam ALL die... But your iniquities have SEPERATED you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that HE WILL NOT HEAR. (Isaiah 59:2)
And you being DEAD IN YOUR SINS and uncircumcision of your flesh... (Colossians 2:13)
And you hath He quickened (made alive), WHO WERE DEAD IN trespasses and SINS... Even when WE WERE DEAD IN SINS... (Ephesians 2:1,5)
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (Revelation 20:14) So, if God overlooked your sin and let you into heaven,would that be justice?
Of course not! That would make God a hypocrite, like us! |
| Therefore, God's absolute holiness DOES REQUIRE His absolute justice.
... the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable. (Luke 3:17)
Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee for it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
Hmmm, hell must be pretty bad... to prefer AMPUTATION.

| Ok, so then who will recieve this judgement from God?
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their
part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)
The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that FORGET God. (Psalm 9:17)
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)
Hmmm, so how DOES one get written into the book of life anyhow?
