Well friend, you could have arrived on this page for various reasons;
1) You don't believe in the Bible, However, you must realize, that just because you harbor a DISBELIEF
Now I also realize that I CAN NOT make you accept something that You don't want to. But regarding religious matters, whatever you DO decide to believe in, research it thoroughly. That is what I hope to help you do here. Be honest, HAVE YOU researched your beliefs? To believe in Christianity, or even to dispell it, you SHOULD trully understand it's TRUE core concepts & doctrines. Or you are not giving it, or yourself, or GOD, a fair chance. You see, I was once a "religious skeptic" myself. I could not understand the concept of absolute truth. How could everybody's god be different, yet all equally valid. WAS THERE one god, or many?! Or was god just a figment of our imagination!? To control the masses? NO! To bring meaning, and purpose, and life...
So then I started to read the Bible, striving to REALLY understand what it was saying. I mean, it DOES say that it's the WORD OF GOD, right? |
| Let's look at a verse:
But if our gospel be HIDDEN, it is hid TO THEM THAT ARE LOST. In whom the god of this world HATH BLINDED the minds of them which believe not, lest the LIGHT of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the IMAGE of God, should shine unto them. (2 Corinthians 4:3-) Hmmm, this is a strange verse (a warning?) penned by the Apostle Paul, what does this mean? It says a lot, so let's break it down. WHO'S IT TO? Well, it says the "Lost". We shall cover this a LOT more as we continue. In fact, this whole website is dedicated to the lost. So if you don't really understand what I'm talking about, "Welcome Aboard"!
WHAT WAS HIDDEN? The gospel. "Our" gospel. That of the early believers in Christ.
