The main theme that runs throughout the Bible, both Old & New Testaments, is that of Christ the Messiah, the perfect unblemished sacrifice, dying an atoning death for an unregenerate mankind.
Additionally, the New Testament hammers home the fact that we can KNOW FOR SURE that when we die, we WILL live in the presence of God in Heaven, forever.
Jesus Himself taught that, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)
Furthermore, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
We can ONLY enter Heaven because of what Jesus Christ has accomplished for us.
Through His death on the cross at Calvary, Jesus actually bore on Himself the penalty of our sins. He paid this penalty, with His life, because He loves us and wants us to recieve total forgiveness and eternal life.

"Beloved, NOW are we the SONS OF GOD, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be, but we KNOW that when He shall appear, we SHALL be like Him." (1 John 3:2) "And hereby we KNOW that we are of the truth... For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and KNOWETH ALL THINGS." (1 John 3:19-20) "If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of His Son... "For there is ONE God, and ONE mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5)

"Neither is there SALVATION IN ANY OTHER; for there is NONE other name under Heaven among men, whereby we MUST be saved." (Acts 4:12) "He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not believed in the name of the ONLY begotten Son of God." (John 3:18) "Except a man be born again, he CANNOT see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3) "BEING BORN AGAIN, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, BY THE WORD of God." (1 Peter 1:23) Doesn't it make sense to BELIEVE ON THE ONE WHO CAME BACK FROM THE DEAD, and TRUST IN HIM for the payment of your sin? Why not DO IT NOW and you can be SURE of going to heaven when you die. Christ loves you, enough to die for you. Right now, why not accept the payment He has made for your sins by BELIEVING IN Jesus Christ and INVITING Him into your life. If your spirit is so willing you may do this by praying a prayer such as this:
"For GOD SO LOVED the world, that He gave His ONLY begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER (that means you!) believeth in Him should NOT perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) And Jesus said... THIS IS THE WILL of Him that sent me, that EVERY ONE which seeth the Son, and BELIEVETH on Him, may HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. (John 6:36)
Friend, if you trust Christ ALONE for your salvation, on the authority of God's Word, you can KNOW that you have eternal life. And that IS the true gospel... of FAITH (and faith alone) in Jesus Christ. If you made the decision to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Redeeming Savior,
